Separate weekend trips

Chris headed to Austria for business (view from his hotel window)

I headed to IL for Father's Day. My dad is ill & will unlikely make it to another Father's Day, so I'm heading home as much as possible.

My view was different, but still has it's own beauty: flat lands & corn!

I also went through some stuff of mine that is still kept at my parents home. Here's one of my favorite toys - it was a Christmas gift when I was around 3-6 (mom & sister couldn't remember & neither could I! I loved horses then & I still do!

A little bit of crusin'

Season hasn't been the best so far - cool & rainy. So, the Phaeton has been stuck at home, and the pickup has been stuck at home.
We've taken the red car out & about - but mostly just to breakfast & to Home Depot (rumble seat works well as a trunk too!)

Vintage Motorcycle Rally

Just down the road from our house - at Star Drive In - a vintage motorcycle rally. After a late breakfast, we decided to stop by & check it out! (lots of other motorcycles there as well)

Toules (Tools) first outing - 2 weeks post surgery - doing great!

Lots of cool bikes - and it was relatively warm too!

Chris used to have a couple motorcycles - one that he built. He enjoyed the show, but isn't too interested in getting another motorcycle just yet.
