Reliability Run 2011

Beautiful weekend for the annual Rolling Bones event.
Met at MJ Tucker's on Saturday

We took off & enjoyed a beautiful ride through MA, CT, and NY.

Saw many sights - like this old mill which was near this

cool covered bridge!

And ended the night at Chute Gates Steakhouse

And began the next morning at Chute Gates for a yummy breakfast buffet!

Perfect weather - we so lucked out!

Another beautiful drive/ride on Sunday

Lots of us!

Pit stop at a garage - he had so much stuff! The guys loved it.

The group headed back to MJ Tuckers. Since the garage was so close to the Intersate, we just jumped on it and headed home.

Running Long

We've been doing some crazy long runs lately. We were training for some long running races, but those just aren't going to happen. A half marathon or full marathon is still a possibility.

Some of our long runs have been in Rhode Island - such beautiful scenery!

Starting off in Coggeshall Farms

then we head onto the dirt trails

which leads us to the path along the bay

We head to the bridge

which leads us to a path

that takes us out of the park & onto the bike path

It's a great path, but can be boring.

So back to the park & the paths
And our starting point

Twix found another

Snake! And she almost brought it into the house -yuck! Fortunately, I got the door shut in time. I thought she had mauled it to death because she played with it for 30 minutes. But once I dragged her away from it, it went away.

Pinto's favorite spots

Yes, I am an animal lover - can't help it. Thankfully, Chris also loves animals. He probably wouldn't have any, if it weren't for me, but he does enjoy them. They are much cheaper than kids, and you can leave them at home unsupervised!

Couch
TV

Toules (our dog) bed - along with Toules toys... Toules is not so happy about this arrangement, as you can imagine.

Tree (fake)

Pant legs. Fortunately, she has mostly outgrown this. And she could always tell the difference between pants & legs - whew! She was only 4 weeks old when we got her.
