Christmas parties!!

Friday night at the yacht club - making our New Year's plans

followed by a yummy dinner

one of BYC's trees

All the ornaments are sailboats :)

Then on Saturday night - at a house party with yacht club friends. I love these friends - they have so many stories to tell & have traveled to so many different & unusual places; not to mention the places they have sailed!

Then we went to a 'hot rod' friends open house on Sunday!

Sailboat talk on Saturday; Car talk on Sunday

Lots of good food both days~!

Hot rod party is never complete - without a trip to the garage!

Annual Turkey Run car show at Daytona Intl Speedway

It's becoming part of our annual FL Thanksgiving tradition - hit the Turkey Run in Daytona

It's very popular - a lot of cars to see.

Can't beat the weather - sunshine & high 70's

my favorite!

Some cool door panels

Have to get a picture of the track.
And the beach

There's another big car show at night - impromptu at the beach - in one of the larger parking lots

Always a good time

A trip south

Decided to drive to our Thanksgiving destination (Mom & Tony's) this year. Our dog, Toules, was happy as he came with us!

1st stop - George Washington bridge & NYC

Then a day in Baltimore!

We enjoyed our stay & can't wait to come back for a baseball game!

Next stop - Savannah! I have wanted to visit this town for a long time. We finally made it! And it did not disappoint! Industrial city combined with beautiful architecture.

We spent some time on Tybee Island - about 15 miles east of Savannah

Beautiful weather

I can't wait for a 'free' weekend where I can try paddle boarding! I snap pictures of anyone I see doing it.

Ahh, the signs of the south - palm trees!

Tybee also had an old fort that we visited

And a very cool lighthouse - so tall

Then to Savannah! River Street - loved it! It reminded of New Orleans - a clean New Orleans though :)

Lots of parks with the big oak trees & moss

and squares

And outside eating...

'Travelers' are common here too

We didn't eat here - but everyone wanted a photo of Paula Deen's restaurantBye Savannah - see you again

Next stop - Mom & Tony's in sunny FL! We love spending Thanksgiving with Liz & Tony. We always have a great time with many many many laughs. A good tradition we hope to continue for many years.

Florida Christmas tree :)

Mom & Tony have a beautiful yard

Hudson Beach - small, but beautiful

We were even treated to some dolphins playing & eating. They moved a little too quickly for my photo skills though.

Liz & Tony's cool ride - Roadster Pickup

Next stop - Daytona's Turkey Run
