More sailing fun!!!

Last Friday afternoon, we sailed from our slip to the Bristol yacht club.  Beautiful day.  We stayed for dinner and then

 motor sailed home - in the dark!  What Fun!

 Then on Sunday (Saturday was the Milltown car show :)  we sailed to Newport.

 More wind & waves.  Bolts was enjoying himself.

 And then we cruised over to our friend's hangar where he keeps his plane & cool cars!

 This past weekend, we did a full day car event- it's been a while!  We met for breakfast.

14 weeks is a long time!

So, our union workers at our local facility went on strike on April 10th.  14 long weeks later, it ended - yay!  Driving through 2 picket lines twice a day was not fun (our plant is on the border of 2 towns, so they were able to form 2 picket lines)  Then we also had Police detail, security, temporary labor - what a mess!  Many of the office workers worked over time & helped out in the shop.  We managed.

So, the strike ended & the company put on a party for the office workers.  Whaling Museum - very cool place

We are all very happy the strike is over!  Don't want to deal with that ever again!

EBSF fundraiser

Trying to add more boats to our sailboat line-up - we had a fundraiser for the sailing foundation to raise some $$

 So good to get back to an event at the club.  I was a chatty cathy all night long!
