Fall Out Car Show

A nice drive to Connecticut for one of the last car shows of the season.

 

 We drove the roadster - it was a little chilly, but nice & sunny.

 A nice turnout, and we saw some of our good friends - from CT and NY

 The trees are turning and the drive home was spectacular.

Clean clean clean

Yay, our 2nd floor tenants moved out!  They could have been worse tenants - but they definitely weren't good ones.  No consideration, just young and dumb.  And they had a kid - poor thing doesn't have a chance.   But at least we didn't have to kick them out or anything too painful.  They paid rent every month, and they left on their own, whew!  But they did leave a mess.  So we spent a full weekend cleaning up after them.  Oh joy!

 

 My life is probably 5 years shorter now, after all the cleaning and painting that we had to do.  Fortunately, the apartment is new (built in 2011), so it still cleaned up well. 

 We earned a nice dinner at one of our favorite restaurants - Roberto's!!

Weekend in Bristol

Chris got home early one Friday - yay!  So we sailed to the yacht club.  They had awards night for Team Racing, so we managed to attend that  - yay!

 

 We stayed on the yacht club dock overnight.  The sunrise the next morning was spectacular!

 We took a nice walk through Bristol, ahh.  I like this town :)

 Back at the yacht club, we saw our friend Peter again, so we did some more relaxing ;)

 We moved our sailboat to a mooring for the day

 And we attended the last Polo match of the season!  It was a beautiful day, but windy, so a little cool.

 And on Sunday, we sailed home again.

Red Sox baseball!

Finally made it to a Red Sox baseball game!  It was one of the last home games, so we scored some great seats!  And saw Papi hit homerun #502!!  Woohoo!

 

Chris' business trip

Chris has been busy traveling this summer.  To MN mostly.  Last week, he went to New Canaan, CT.  A cute town near NYC.  I so wish I had tagged along!

The only thing I like about fall - is that the bugs go away!  So, we can go back to the forest and hike!

 

 We are so lucky that this is in our backyard!  And the ocean too :)

Rumble at Ralph's Car show!

Weather has been so great this summer!  This past weekend, we headed west to Worcester.  We haven't been to this car show in years.  It's a fun one!

 

 We drove the Red 34, and Dallas drove the 31 pickup.

Finally made it to a TGIF at the yacht club!  We haven't been there much, since we keep our boat in Portsmouth. But we are planning on moving our boat back to the yacht club next season.  It will be hard going back to a mooring (the slip is so nice!), but we miss going to the yacht club and seeing friends.

 

 And we went sailing with some friends from the yacht club too!  They are both triathletes, as well.
