Launch Date!

Our sailboat is in the water!  We are moving it to a mooring this season and leaving our beloved dock behind.  We want to spend more time at our yacht club, so we are moving our boat back to Bristol Harbor.

 Our weekends are so busy these days, we had to move our boat from the boat yard where it was launched to Bristol Harbor on a weekday morning.  It was a beautiful morning for our first sail.

 There was a large ship in the harbor - dropping off sailboats from overseas.

Rainy day in Boston

We went to visit my niece again in Boston, and took her a rug.  We took a nice walk around Boston Commons even through it was a little rainy.

 We don't get to the city much, so I enjoy it rain or shine!

Cruise night season!!

Yay, the weather is warming up and cruise nights have started!

 Bolts enjoys seeing our friends as much as we do!

 There is a cruise night every night of the week - which we love!  Chris gets home from work, we jump into a hot rod, and cruise over to the local hot spot.  We chat with friends, then cruise home.  Life is good!!

Fundraiser for our friend

Our friend is fighting brain cancer, so we were very happy to attend her new foundation's first fundraiser!  There was a huge turnout and a lot of money was raised!

 There was a live auction, as well as a silent auction.  We were close on some silent auction items, but came home with one winner - a gift certificate to a new restaurant that we can sail to!!

Supercross!!

A drizzly day, we headed to Gillette Stadium to watch Supercross!!  It was so much fun, even though the day started off quite chilly!

 We had tickets to the pits, so we saw quite a few of the riders, including numero uno, Dungey!  I wasn't very quick though, so I just got his back.  A little later in the day, we saw him with his training partner but again I was too slow & didn't get a good picture.

 We got a great photo of some others though.

 We weren't going to stand in lines & get any autographs, but some of the lines moved quickly, and the riders were so cute :)  Davalos pictured here won the 250 main event!!

 The track was muddy in the morning (but dried out later that day), so the riders had to clean all the dirt off

 We had great seats!  Nice & comfy club seats with our own bar and food area :)

 The sun blocked some good photos, but I managed to get some.  We both had so much fun!!  We can't wait to go again!!
