We headed west to Saratoga Springs, NY - for the annual Rolling Bones Garage Night!
Weather was similar to our home - snow! Fortunately, while we were getting 12 inches in New England, we only dealt with 6 inches in Saratoga. Much nicer!
We spent our first morning (and the 2nd) at the YMCA. It is SO nice!
Roads were a little sketchy as the snow fell most of the day
I love walking around this cute town - even when it's cold
and so we drove around some too - the park is beautiful. We also drove by the race tracks, but I didn't get any good pictures.
A NY staple - Stewarts convenience stores (and gas)
Of course, we stopped by the Bones garage every afternoon...
The first night we had dinner with the most loyal - about 50 of us - at a yummy Italian restaurant.
Another walk around Saratoga the next morning :)
and then the garage...
The new RB book - The Book of Gow is now available! So we had a signing party - for those who owned the hot rods in the book. Almost everyone was in attendance!
That evening we had dinner at the Auto museum (used to be a bottling plant).
Because... the Rolling Bones hot rods were on display!!
Our RB hot rod! It was cool to see it in a museum :). And next year it (and the other RB cars) will be featured at the Grand National Roadster Show in CA!
Our final morning - and another walk around town!
The group had set up some garage tours of other local car guys. We went to one of the garages
Then it was back to the RB garage & Garage Night!
Another fun winter weekend!
