Silver City Shakedown car show

We've been getting a lot of rain lately!  Fortunately this car show started at noon because yes, it was raining in the morning.  The show was in Meriden, CT, so it was a 2 plus drive for us.  But the weather was beautiful (once the rain burned off), so it was a nice day for a drive.  We took the Phaeton, since there was plenty of Interstate driving - she handles it well.

And yeah, a lot of our Rolling Bones friends were there!  Jim & Bernadette :)

 Billy O :)  We also brought along Mr. Bolts.  He was pretty popular and he mostly behaved.

 Our friends Roger & Michelle were also there!  And Bill C, John, Derrick & Katie.  Great times catching up with everyone.  So glad we made the drive!

We stopped at Mystic, CT on the way home.  Such a quaint town & a great place to stop for some food.

 Ahh, another great day!

Motorcycle gathering

The 'old' motorcycle gathering came back to Lakeville! 

 A lot of cool old bikes show up, so it's fun to walk around & check them out.

 The gathering gets bigger & bigger every year.

 And the bikes get better & better too!

Sailing!

 Our friends invited us out for a Friday evening sail.  It was in the 80's and just beautiful.  And it was so nice being on the water again!!

 So, a few days later, we set up an appointment to see a sailboat that's for sale...   I'll keep you posted!

Polo Season!

Yep, it's that time of the year again - Polo season!  I just love summer!  5:00 every Saturday in June, July, August (4:00 in September)  Portsmouth, RI

 We took our friends, Peter & Mary.  Mary had been to a polo match before, but it was Peter's first time.  And he loved it!  Another beautiful evening - who wouldn't enjoy it?!

 we took Bolts too (who did very well - not a bark to be heard).  He was especially interested in those 'big dogs'

1st sunny day we had some extra time - we went & bought flowers for our summer pots!

 Bolts enjoying the outdoors too.  He's pretty good off leash, but he's still young & likes to run a little too much, so we ground him ;)

Helger's open house & fundraiser!

 They had a good turn out, even with the cold rainy weather.  They were doing a benefit for one of their crew members who had cancer.

 Bolts went too - need to get him socialized.

Another hair cut - and this one's a doozy!

 Bolts all cute & fuzzy.   A little too fuzzy, but still cute!

 But then it was grooming time.  And boy did he get groomed!

 I was horrified when I first saw him, b/c it was such a drastic change!  He doesn't look like a puppy anymore!  But it is starting to grow on me, and it's growing out a little, so he doesn't look so bald!
