RPM Nationals - Santa Margarita, CA

 While we were on the west coast, we also went to the RPM nationals.  So many cool cars!!

 Great swap meet too - cool stuff everywhere :)

 and more drag racing - but on a little smaller scale

Hot Rod Reunion

 We headed to Bakersfield, CA for the Hot Rod Reunion!

 It was a fun weekend - relaxing dinner & hanging by the fire

 The guys had one and a half days of qualifying and Sunday afternoon was for eliminations

 Chris helped in back up duty

 The kids were here too!

 Saturday night - cacklefest!

 Troy was the only one who made it to the finals - so it was a late Sunday night - but all good fun!

Fall Fire!

It was a nice windless night - so perfect for a fire.

 Hats & gloves, but no coats :)

A fall walk

 The leaves are really starting to litter the bike path.

 Bolts only wanted to chase squirrels

 I still like looking at the fall colors - even if they are more brown now

 Bolts saw 2 squirrels playing in this yard, but I told him we couldn't go in

 I took him to a small beach off the path

 But he had squirrel on his brain :)   We still had a nice walk.

Flash Back Friday - 2005

 Our wedding on Martha's Vineyard!  I wore my mom's wedding dress and my sister  & sister in law were my attendants.  Chris' brother and his good friend Arthur were his attendants.  We kept it simple and small and had a grand time.
