Cruise Da #3: Quissett to Edgartown

Timing was a little trickier this morning - as we had to make our way through one of the 'holes' that separate the Naushon islands. Our final destination - Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard.
So we had a congo line of boats through Woods Hole - it was a little hazy (foggy later); and the currents are strong, so it's good to follow someone (and you're almost always motoring)

On the other side - we put up the sails!

It was another beautiful day on the water, but it was also nice to arrive in Edgartown Harbor

We dinghy'd to shore so Bolts could do his business, then took a nice walk around town

We love the Vineyard

Appetizers again for the cruisers - but this time on a beautiful catamaran - 45 feet!

It was beautiful and Tons of room.

It was an enjoyable evening. We cut it a little early and went to dinner with some friends. It was nice to have a full meal.

New arrival

Our niece had her baby boy, on 7/25! Meet Levi. Mom, Dad, and Grandpa are doing great! We can't wait to meet him!

BYC Cruise Day #2: Padanaram to Quissett

Bolts tired - didn't want to play in the waves. He had just been squirrel hunting all over Padanaram :)

We paddled over to our friends for Happy Hour - Bolts wanted to partake as well!

The cruisers organized a pirate day for the kids on the cruise. They cruised dinghy's around - shooting water guns at us poor unsuspecting folks :)

Our friend Joe tried out the paddle board. He was a natural

Another appetizer night on a different beach! Drink of the day was Dark & Stormy's- yum!

Nice view of the harbor. We love Quissett - it's so quaint & peaceful. There are no amenities though - just ice & water! Woods Hole isn't too far of a walk - but it's busy streets so we have never tried it.
