EBSF sailing days

Summer camp did happen!  It was a little different than normal, but we got kids on boats, which is the name of the game!  

 

Crazy kids

Bolts is nuts as we all know.  And he loves to play in the sprinklers.  We aren't running them too much this year so he doesn't have as much play time as he'd like :)

And Pinto Bean decided to bring a mouse into the house - along with a stick??   I was only gone a couple hours.  Yuk yuk yuk!   She should be eating them not laying them on our floor.  Of course, it's my fault as I told her that morning that she should be hunting more (as she sat crying for more food after just finishing her breakfast).  I guess she does understand some English!

What I see through my window - East Bay sailors!

 On our sailboat, Aeolus, and while we were at the dock cleaning, the campers were finishing their day, and came sailing by!

Flash Back Friday - Green coupe in Nevada

This is a black and white photo, so you can't tell it's Green, but it is!  We had just bought this coupe from our friend Wild Bill, and we were taking it for a cruise around our neighborhood. :)

Birthday Bean

 Poor Bean had her birthday when we had visitors.  So she was in hiding.  But as soon as they were gone (well, I actually had to rattle the treat can), she came running.  She loves to sit with Chris.  He moans every night when she comes a crawling :)

 Can't forget to post a Bolts picture too :)  He loves to sit on his butt and not his haunches.

Bike riding

 We finally took our road bikes out - to a remote area and met a friend for a nice bike ride.  It was a warm sunny day (like it's been most of the summer!)

 The natural sights were amazing.  And we also saw some fun hand made sights/land marks.  A zebra tree

 It was on the bay, so we were able to soak our legs after the ride

 or finish drinking their coffee :)

New kayak!

 Chris' brother had a 2 person kayak that he didn't use, so we went to get it from him.  It was a little long :)  so we tied it on the roof.

 Then we stopped at an old favorite while we were in the area -ice cream, yum!

 It was a little dirty from sitting outside all year.  So Chris gave it a good bath.  Now, we need to drag it to our little beach and enjoy the water!
