Weekend - garage time!

Chris wanted some garage time to work on a model A coupe ( a friend's), and I had some training to do, so it was no problem.  But we did enjoy breakfast first

and some snuggle time with Mr Bolts

Chris fixed the steering in this car  - he's getting a lot of requests...

Looks good - and is ready to go home!  Quick turnaround!

 

Cruise night at the yacht club!

Our yacht club had an event for those who love cars!  We brought two of ours to the event.

Pretty good 'car' turnout for a sailing club!

Dinner at a friend's - auction winning meal

Chris & I bid on a filet dinner (that serves 10-12) at the EBSF fun raiser, and we won!  So we conned our friend's into cooking and serving :)   They had their parents in town, and some other friends joined us as well - so we finished the meal up with no problem!

They have a beautiful garden which we admired :)

Another Wed night sailing race!

Time for adults to race!  A beautiful evening (thank goodness, rainy nights are no fun)

It was a long course - over 7 miles.  They are usually around 5 miles.  We had decent wind, so time passed quickly.  It wasn't our best race - but we finished with the group and got 4th out of 6

Sailing regatta - volunteer help

We haven't had a sailing regatta (for kids) in a few years.  Happy that we are back on track to host one!  I helped volunteer for the 2 day event - mainly in directing parking

The winds on day one were very light, so the racing didn't start until the afternoon

Day #2 winds were pretty good.

So overall, it was a successful regatta - over 100 boats:  420's and Opti's
