Myakka!

Sunday morning, we took a nice drive through Myakka State Park.  It was severely flooded by Hurricane Ian

Lots of trees down as well, but it was still a nice drive

And there were a lot of alligators on the river banks - enjoying the sunshine

it's a nice road to bike down as well, since traffic is going very slow

there are opportunities to take boat tours too, but we just did a drive by :)

Time to start volunteering again - the more doggie/kitty places, the better :)

the training takes a while though - so many levels that you have to go through, so we'll see how long it takes before I really volunteer.  Day 1 at Satchels, like Nate's Hone was just a informational meeting and a walk around the property.

Meals and errands

it's what we all do - eat and run errands :)  Life can be pretty basic anywhere you live.  But I do like a basic life in a warm environment!
