Europe trip day 13 -Versailles

We took a train to Versailles to see the palace 

Crazy big and very gold!  Lines were obnoxious so we didn’t linger long inside as it was just too crowded to really enjoy 

Back in Paris for a cocktail -enjoying the outside cafes 

 

Europe trip day 12 -stay in Paris

We visited all the sights!  Lots of walking and a bus tour

Louvre was closed for the day-fashion week show 

Mid afternoon snack-yummy!!

 

Europe trip day 11

A day trip to Le Mans-where they have the 24 hour car race.  The town also has an old medieval city which was amazing!

We walked around a lot of the race course (it’s city streets) and then went to the museum 

 

Europe day 10

Beautiful morning!  Weather was much nicer in Paris 

We met our friends Bill & Kathy at a Monet museum

Then walked around a bit 

And took a boat ride on the Seine

Had lunch along the Champs Elysees

Walked and walked-loved it!

 

Europe trip day 9 to Paris

Our boat trip ended and we headed to the train station with one of the couples to take a train to Paris

3 hours later and we were walking along the Seine

Notre Dame 

Walking the Latin Quarter where we stayed 

Then dinner

And dessert. Fun first night!
