Spring snow!

Woke up to more snow. Yuk. I don't like it in the winter, and I don't like it in the spring.

 At least it won't last long.  Supposed to be above freezing, and 60's.  Yay!!

A day in the city!

We picked the keys up for my niece & nephew who are moving to Boston.

 

 We brought in a few of their boxes.  The apartment is small, but very clean, and it has a lot of character.

 Then we treated ourselves to breakfast - Yum!

 And a nice walk

 Then we headed to Boston University for the annual Tri Mania festival put on by our good friends, Mark & Eric!

 They have stroke clinics

 running clinics (see top group on upper track)

 a fun expo

 and some really informative lectures.  We also saw some tri friends that we haven't seen in a while.

Finishing touches on the red '41!

We took the red '41 to get pin striped

 

 While he was working his magic, Chris and I found a local park that had a nice hiking trail!

 Pin striping done!  The truck is pretty much road ready.  Chris will always have some small things to do, but we are registered and on the road!

 The pin striping is ok - the lines aren't really very bold, and the extra touches he did are a little too fancy in my opinion  - for a truck.  But it does add some character to the truck.

 We've taken it on some nice drives!

 I've even driven it for a short bit!

Birthday Hike!

We headed to NH for my birthday and a big hike up Mt Monadnock.

Very steep and lots of rocks to clamber over!  It was a sunny day, although a little windy.

 It was very windy, so I didn't hang around long...

It took us 5 hours to hike the 9 miles.  Whew! 

Birthday!

I love celebrating birthdays, especially mine!  I usually don't do anything big - I just like having your own special day :)

 

 The weather has been fabulous this week - so we've all been enjoying it!

The peepers are peeping.  Daffodils are blooming.  The doors and windows are open!  Love having an early spring.  Hope it stays!!

Burn Day!

We haven't burned in a couple years, and we need it!  We have lost a lot of limbs this winter, so it's going to take us a few days to get it all burnt.  Last weekend, we did a small burn pile in the front.

 

 Fortunately, we've had a decent winter, so we should get it all burned by the deadline, May 1st.
In a few weeks, we'll tackle the back yard.

Yacht Club Party!!

We finally attended a yacht club party.  Seems like we're always out of town when they happen.

 

This one was a ski party theme.  Good music!
