Relaxing weekend sail with friends

It was a beautiful day, so we went sailing with our friends (who we also race with)

it was a little cool upwind, but only because the bay water was still cool.  The air temp was perfect

we sailed to Newport

and took the sails down in the harbor while we cruised around and had lunch.  There is always a lot to see in this busy harbor.  Fortunately it was still early in the season, so we didn't have to dodge too many boats

Leaving the harbor, we saw a couple really big ships :)  One was anchored (above) and the other was moving right along

we put up a different spinnaker than we normally use - nice & brightly colored

then we relaxed on the yacht club deck when we got home :)
