Hurricane Ian
My moms neighborhood fared ok during the storm, fortunately. Some trees & lots of branches in her Cul de sac. Some other streets in her neighborhood had more trees down & lost power. She was lucky enough to keep her electricity. Chris’ mom was more north & fared even better. Thank goodness for all

Around the island race 2022
we had a beautiful day for the 2022 Around the island (Conanicut) race
fewer boats than years past (only 78, where there are normally close to 100)
but there was still plenty of racing to do
as usual, we ended up in the middle
so not the best finish, but fine for us. It was just too beautiful of a day to stay inside
