more practice and qualifying. Our friend Victor had some issues with his mustang
Chris was happy with his times
and he helped Victor fix his car
in between Chris' race sessions, we watched other groups
later in the day - a cat showed up on pit road! The track was just getting ready to close. He leads a dangerous life!
walking around the pits and seeing the other race cars is always fun
we jumped in a golf cart with some friends to do the track walk (golf carts were welcome)
it was a fun way to see the track and everything was going so well until
the last straightaway - the golf cart puts it's brakes on; locked up; and stopped. We couldn't get the brakes to disengage - trying everything!! there is a way to allow a tow, but it had been rewired, so that wouldn't work anymore
And then a track worker with a tractor pulled up and helped
it got a nice ride back to the pits! Once it was fully charged, the golf cart ran just fine
We had a lot of laughs over it, at least!
