Daytona Duels!

 We went to Daytona and stayed for the Nascar Duels!

 It was a beautiful evening.  And it was cool to see Nascar up close again.

 We had tickets to the infield.  We still can't get over how narrow the track is - for those drivers to be going 200 mph and 3 wide!

 There are 2 duel races and they determine the lineup for the Daytona 500

 Pit lane!

 We also walked the garages

 Some people stay inside the track and watch the race on a big TV screen.  I'm not sure why

 We were there for the driver introductions:  Here are a few:  Martin Truex Jr

 And we were up close for the drive around:  Chase Elliott

 Kyle Larson

 Kevin Harvick

 Jimmy Johnson

 Then it was time to head to our seats - crossing the steep track one more time

 Fun night & lots of good racing!

 There were only a couple wrecks -nothing too crazy fortunately.
