Grooming failure

We tried a new pet groomer.  Bolts is very lovable, but not during a grooming session.  He's quite the nightmare:  especially when you groom his feet.  He bites and growls and nips and moans.  We've met some other welsh terrier families in FL and they recommended this groomer as he is a WT breeder and very familiar with their traits.    Well, they didn't like Bolts at all.  They gave him a bath and a blow dry.  Then they tried to brush his beard and he wouldn't let them.  So they gave up.  We're quite disappointed in this groomer.  Bolts is a major pill, but he's managed to get groomed 4 to 5 times a year for 8 years now - and no one has ever 'given up'.  I did find another groomer, but it's a few weeks away.   Bolts will just have to deal with his fuzz a little longer.  Hopefully, he will actually get groomed this next time!  They have groomed him before, so fingers crossed.

While Bolts was at the groomers (for all of 30 minutes), we looked at a Five Below store.  They had giant tennis balls, which we thought Bolts would love.  It was supposed to be a treat for getting groomed.

He didn't get a full groom, but he got the ball anyway.  No where to hide a ball this big!  And Bolts fur was amazingly soft and fluffy - so the grooming experience wasn't a total waste.
