practice race for Wednesday night sailboat racing

breakfast first :)  then we met the crew for Blue Devil, for a weekend practice sail

the day started off pretty foggy, but it lifted and we had a great sail

we worked out the winter cobwebs and had fun!  It was nice to be back on the water again

we took a trip to Marion, MA to look at a boat (small powerboat).  It didn't pan out, but we had a nice walk around the quaint town

then that evening, they had some live music at the yacht club - enjoyable & relaxing

our first event in a long time!  It was a Mexican Fiesta night - yum!

the cruise leader gave a short spiel on places the club was cruising to this summer.  We'll be missing a lot of fun  - but soon we'll be back with a new boat.

we checked out the new docks.  They expanded them a bit and added one new finger.  It's not a lot different, but better than it was

 

Getting our driveway sealed

it's way past due, but we finally got it done!! (only because some guys stopped by and asked if we wanted it done, ha ha)  We've been meaning to get it done, but just never made the phone call, so we were happy that these guys took the initiative.  They could tell it really needed help!

 It looks much better!  We still have a couple cracks, but all in all, it is much smoother

So this is why our arborvitae are so bald - deer - 5 of them to be exact, sigh.  We live by an empty lot, and with no where else to go...

onward - to a favorite coffee spot.  Yay
