We bought tickets for Mac McAnally a few weeks ago. We've known his music for years and love it. He's made music with Kenny Chesney & is a member of Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band. He's also a 10 time Musician of the Year winner. So we were excited to see the flyer about his upcoming concert, especially since he was playing at our favorite coffee shop. Yep, Thriving Tree cafe which has now changed hands to Sunset Cove.

Mac sang one song, and then started an old favorite - It's five o'clock somewhere. And when the lyric "what would Jimmy Buffett say..." Jimmy himself came on stage and sang the rest of that song as well as a number of other old favorites! The crowd was so excited! It took a few moments before people really realized it was really Jimmy, and then everyone was on their feet.

Mac & Jimmy sang a number of songs, and then Mac finished the party with a good number of his own, including Down the Road, a duet with Kenny Chesney. At this point, we wouldn't have been surprised if Kenny showed up too, ha ha.
