Poor gator

This guy has been hanging in the pond across the street from us for a couple weeks.  It looks like he got into a fight with another gator (or hit by a car) because he now has an injured right back leg.   Since he was injured, he was staying a little too close to the roads & on the sidewalk.  Animal services was called and he was removed.  They said animal sanctuary, but who knows.  Poor guy.   These photos are from my friend Jessie who witnessed it all.  Me & Chris were on a bike ride & trying to avoid the crowd :)
