Chris was leveling a refrigerator at our 3 family that we bought in Bristol. It leveled him...
Only 1 1/2 hours in the emergency room - Saturday night before Irene

Yes, this is #2 sailboat ruined in 2 years. We had the boat hauled - insurance will pay. But it didn't do us any good. 60 foot cow of a sailboat fell over onto us - of course. Not sure how? We were in the middle of about 50 boats. Our mast is broken:

Still assessing damage because they have to get a 100 ton crane to lift that behemoth off us.
No more sailing for 2011. 2012 ?
Other Irene marks:
Mostly just some large tree limbs & leaves in our yard.

A little ways down the road: made getting to the highway interesting. This was one of many trees on powerlines.

The harbor - the big storm surge at high tide caused most of the damage.

There were quite a few of these around too

People did their best to prepare. It wasn't the biggest storm, but it still did a lot of damage

Our favorite ice cream place boarded up for a while
Looks like we'll be doing more camping & hot rodding this fall, since sailing is out. Polo on Saturdays too!
