Yard work!

Time for yard work!  Weather is finally nice enough to enjoy being outside for extended periods.

The previous owners had a lot of shrubs and flowers!  We prefer to keep things a little more simple.  So one day we removed & relocated some shrubs and flowers.  We actually left a lot more than we normally would - but we wanted to see how they all fit together before we 'yarded' too much :)

 This mound once had a tree (before we moved in).  The stump has been ground, but they just put a few silly bushes around the circle.  We are going to seed it and hope that grass will grown and fill it in.  Right now it looks like an alien landing site :)

 Then the next day - we mulched!

 Bolts liked to help - except he started pulling out the bushes that Chris had just planted!

 We still have some yard work to do - but this made us feel much better - we aren't the ugly yard on the street anymore :)
