Mote Aquarium trip

Our neighbor volunteers at Mote Aquarium, so she gave us & our other neighbors some free tickets.  We had to use by the end of the year, so we went on a rainy day, when we hoped everyone was at the mall shopping :) 

The otters are the most fun!

This alligator sat at the bottom of his pond for a long long time.  I'm not sure how long they can hold their breath, but it's obviously quite a while.

We practically had the aquarium to ourselves, which was nice

The shark tank is always 'interesting' too.  EEK!

We went to a favorite pub for lunch - they have the best fish tacos of any restaurant that Chris has tried them at!

 

Bolts 'fun'

Dirty guy - gets a shower!

We've had some chilly mornings - even getting frost on the roofs (we see on our morning walks with Bolts)!  He loves the cool weather.   But he's been scratching a lot!  The FL weather change has him in fits.

A friend's dog grew out of her jacket, so they gave it to Bolts - fits great!  He's not a fan, of course...

I took him to the vet to see if they could help his itch!  They gave him some pills, and they seem to be doing the trick, thank goodness.

 

Sailing - model style

This is the kind of sailing we can do now days - model sailboats.  But it's better than nothing!

We just have to be aware of the alligators!

 

Sunday drivin'

Sunday's have been our day to just cruise around and see the local sights (from the comfort of our car)  We started this Sunday with breakfast at the local diner.  Greasy spoon Yums

Then it was a cruise to some beaches a little north
