Daytona Racing - Day #3

Chris' mom and husband Tony came to watch!

Lunch break!  Chris took Tony for the lunch time parade lap

This is us - in the middle of DIS!

Beautiful day - but the storm was a comin'!

Fortunately, the rains held off.

Chris' sticky tires - so much gravel and other cars rubber stuck to them

All loaded up!  We had to be out of the infield by 7 pm.  Racing stopped at 5 pm

Rains came at 6:00 pm - lots and lots of rain!

 We camped just outside the track, in one of the many parking lots that surround Daytona.  SO we didn't have a long drive in the rain.
