getting the last dinners in with friends from RI

we are getting ready to head south, so we are busy doing dinners & drinks with friends

dinner with our BVI friends (we're planning a sailing cruise in the british virgin islands in March, covid dependent)
 

and dinner with my old co workers :)

Red pickup cruise

final cruise of the season in the red pickup!  we made it a full day - breakfast then picked up dinner from the fish market

later that day, we went for a sunset cruise along the water

Porsche on the Mountain event

another early start to the day!  This time in the Porsche.  We love having different types of cars that allow us to go to different events

another drive - to Palmer MA

to the Palmer Speedway - you know anything to do with racing gets Chris excited :)

almost 100% Porsches too

they did have some race cars

they allowed you to drive on the track - for a donation fee

a lot of people took them up on their offer - and they drove fast!

our friend Charlie's car

we took our Porsche on the track, even though it is not a race car.  It was a challenging track - lots of uphills and downhills, long sweeper curves, off camber turns...

and one section has an amazing view - not that the driver will ever see it :)

we hung around until early afternoon, then followed Charlie & his brother Jim back to Jim's shop

Jim has quite the shop and quite the collection!  He has a lot of Porsches, and some hot rods too.

then we had pizza at Charlie & Gloria's and got home after dark!!
