we met our friends & headed to the boat show! We usually love this event - especially when we don't have a boat, like this year! It was a drizzly day - but it didn't disappoint. Probably too many people for some - but it was outside, so we took the plunge
like everything, there is a shortage of new boats. We aren't interested in a new boat, but someone has to buy them! Otherwise, there would be no boats :) We like the Dehler 34 - this one actually lives in our harbor. Again, the show had to ask locals to display their boats since there aren't many new ones out there. Crazy times
it was fun going on and off the boats - we only went on a few. Covid protocols were in place, so they were never crowded
the J99 was nice - but you spend so much $$ on the name.
these fun toys were sea bobs - starting at $10,000. Crazy! Might be fun to have one in warmer waters - Newport, not so much - the water is only warm 2 months of the year. And that's if you call 70's warm
The Cat's are very popular. They were saying that if you wanted a new one - you wouldn't get it until 2023
and then it was time for ice cream!
