4th of July Fun - on July 3rd, we watched the fireworks from a friend's boat

(the harbor was full of police & fire boats patrolling)

Then on parade day - the streets were lined early!!  We took our late day party food over to our friend's home early (roads close at 8 am)

then we rode our bikes down the bike path to watch the parade from a few different places:  House #1

we had a nice shade tree, and lots of friends

then we headed to our friend's home further up the street to get our Mojito's for some more of the parade.  Again we had nice shade & good drinks & friends, but no chairs

our final stop was on a friend's front porch.  Probably the best spot - with the water view

and then it was over!

we then rode our bikes to our friend's who were having the after party

some more relaxing and gabbing :)   Long day, beautiful weather, and perfect
