Sailing weekend

at times it is nice to not have a boat!  We're guests on friends boats a lot more now :)

one of the boats from the Newport Bermuda race has been in the harbor.  It's rigging broke about 100 miles offshore - when they were leading the race.   It's pretty banged up

it was sad to see, but everyone got home safely and uninjured from that accident.

we didn't have a lot of wind at first, so we motored to Potters Cove, had lunch, and went for a swim

then we sailed later

and the next day, we went with our friend Bob - for a quick sail to Newport and back.  We had good wind the entire day
