FGL concert!!

I purchased some concert tickets on a whim.  I really like Florida Georgia Line music, since it's very upbeat & fun!  And then I heard that Frankie Ballard & Thomas Rhett were opening for them - and I was sold!   Frankie Ballard's song 'Young & Crazy' was going through my head the entire Patriot triathlon bike ride - for 3 hours, I was singing that song!

Having a cocktail before the event.
Our seats were good - but too far away to get great photos.  I like concerts - but don't have any interest is spending a fortune to be up close & personal.  Frankie Ballard was so good - but he was first and only played 5 songs.  He played a Led Zepplin tune that was so amazing!  Thomas Rhett was awesome!  He had so much energy and the crowd Loved him!  Super cool that his song 'Crash & Burn' went to number 1 that night.  He was told right before he went on stage - so he made a very emotional toast to the crowd.  His first #1.  I think we'll be seeing more #1's from him though!
Florida Georgia line were amazing too!  Did not dissapoint.  They have a ton of energy, their songs are fast & upbeat.  Loved it!!

Woodstock Fair!!

I've been jonesing to visit a fair this summer!  And we found one to fit in our schedule.  It was perfect - because it also gave us the opportunity to visit some friends we haven't seen in a while!

Hot hot day!  And a lot to see!  The bunnies of course were the first!
 some crazy chickens
Moo! Our friend's cow :)  She was so sweet and docile.
 Me & Dianna!
This sheep was getting a much needed shearing!  He didn't seem to happy about it, but I"m sure he felt much better after.
Miss Piggy & her babies.  Not stinky at all :)
There were a lot of buildings to wander through.
And a lot of people to walk around, ha!
 Some baby chicks were hatching.
Arts and crafts galore!  People are so talented!

a lot of food vendors too - with all that yummy fair food!
 Arthur, Chris, Dianna
 checking out the motors
 Can't miss the midway!!
oh those rides!  Made me wish to be a kid again, b/c I sure can't do that now!  Wow!

Last but not least - the horses!  Those riders make it look so easy...
I did bring home some kettle corn - delicious!!
And we also visited our friend's home.  Recently built - a beautiful home in the woods!
with a beautiful peaceful view.  It was so relaxing to sit on their deck and chat.  Such a nice afternoon!
They even have some chickens of their own - maybe we'll see them at the fair next year!!

50th birthday party!

Our friends Joe & Bob (twins) celebrated their 50th birthday - with a nice bash!

Our good friend, Amy, was there to help celebraate too!  She is battling brain cancer and is doing great!!

Our friend, Dan, built Joe an adult size jenga game, so they had to play of course!

The party was at the yacht club - so a beautiful setting

And there was cake!  Yum!  I love cake!

Spending time with Chris' brother & friends

We've been dragging Chris' brother out a little more this summer.  Thanks to his daughter, Alexa.
We met them in Portsmouth for sailing one warm summer night.  (I actually wore a sleeveless top during the whole sailing trip!! - Love that!)

 Dallas
Lisa having fun when the boat healed!
 Joe
 Alexa and Corey

 Me & Chris

 We put Dallas to work!
IT was such a beautiful evening.  Too bad the nights are getting shorter.
Then we met them for some more wine tasting at Sakonnet Winery.  We took the Phaeton, which Bolts loves!

 Another beautiful evening.

That was the last of the season :(  Sad to see those Thursday nights go.  Such a nice way to end the week.
Thanks to the winery, we got a lot of corks for my Mom's fish bowl though!!
