BYC Day #5

Fortunately no fog on the morning we left Hyannis.  We would have stayed until it lifted, but it was nice to wake up and have a clear morning

Some really fun sailing this day.  Our destination - Vineyard Haven (Marthas Vineyard)
The Black Dog Schooner out for a sail
We booked a slip here.  It's so much easier when you have a dog.
We took a nice stroll through VH

Then relaxed on our boat for awhile (boom tent up again!)  It was hot!
Our view - Black Dog restaurant (original)
We met the BYC gang at a local park for some more good food! (The Day captains bring a 'drink of the day', and everyone else brings appetizers or dishes to share)
Nice view

Two of our BYC cruisers were from St Louis, so we hit it off well.  Bob is moving to Bristol (part time), while his wife is still working.  And his friend Dave was along for the ride (he's currently living in London, England for 2 years for his wife's job). They were really interesting and fun guys.
