We ventured to western Mass. to check out an antique show. It's held in Brimfield every May, July, and September. It. is. Huge!
We were looking for a kitchen island - or something that we could use as one. We really liked this workbench - so neat! But Chris thought it was too narrow (I still might find one to use as a TV stand...)
Then we started looking at these industrial carts (were used in the old mill buildings)- just add a stainless steel, wood, or copper top! We really liked this cart - but it was too wide and too long.
Then we found this one - kind of unassuming. But it was inexpensive, and already had the 'arms' for the top. I just asked Chris if he could move the wheels to the outside, so we could see them better. You can't even see them in this photo!
We ended up buying a pie safe (I've always wanted one!)
We don't have a closet in our master bedroom, so this will work nicely! I was originally wanting something a little taller, but once I found the pie safe - it was all I wanted!
And we did buy the green cart too! Chris had to powerwash it once we got it home.
It looks nice in the kitchen - just have to refinish it; add a top; and move the wheels. Chris is looking forward to the project - as long as any car projects don't come up first, of course!
