Not a hurricane - just gale force winds, so no one really prepped their boats...
And 2 ended up almost on top of a restaurant
The bay was a rocking and rolling!
These poor boats. Fortunately they didn't sustain a lot of damage as the tide was high.
The neighboring marina didn't fare much better - boats were all over the place! Almost every one had broken a line. The white power boat in the middle broke a wooden dock finger, so it was resting on a small sailboat. Crazy!
This sail boat also broke it's lines
Bristol Marine was quick to rescue the 2 boats at the restaurant.
They hauled one to the docks next to the restaurant and tied it up. Chris helped
And the owner of the other one jumped aboard and motored it away (once it was pulled out enough)
And the winds continued to howl for a couple more hours, but we didn't see any more wrecks.
