Camping on the Cape!

Our favorite season in any location is 'off season'!  Still plenty of action, but more low key and way less crowded.  That's Cape Cod in the fall (and spring)  So we packed up Big Blue and headed east!
Day 1 - a cruise along route 28 to Provincetown.  (it's a loong way!)
But there are plenty of quaint towns along the way.  I wish we had time to stop at all of them.  But it was VERY chilly and VERY windy.  So a drive by was much more comfortable.

The harbors are still full of boats hoping the weather will hold out a little longer

The beaches weren't crowded because the weather wasn't very nice.  And maybe because of these 'shark' signs.  They are everywhere.  Ugh, Jaws is very alive on the Cape.  I downloaded the Shark app, and it's no joke.  There is plenty of white shark activity along the outer cape.  I wouldn't even put my big toe in that water!
The surf was a pounding too

Some of the beaches had some paths that were out of the crazy wind
So Bolts was able to enjoy a little walking

One of Chris' favorite beach in Wellfleet.  It has quite the bluff

Race point -  furthest point East in MA

We finally made it to Provincetown (aka Ptown)- very quaint and still pretty busy

Whew!  We had a busy day and we were pooped at the end of it!!
