Walk, bike, sail day

Walk on the bike path with Mr Bolts

a bike ride through the neighborhood, then the park

then the bike path

and end the day sailing with friends!  No wind this night though, so no one was able to finish the race.  It was a still beautiful night to be on the water

It looks like everyone is sailing, but mostly just drifting

 

More fun in a daze

Starting the day off right with kitty cuddles and breakfast at a favorite :)  Then a cruise around in our Porsche

and a stop at Sakonnet Winery

On our way home, we cruised by the ever popular clam shacks

and stopped at a large craft fair

Yes, once again ending our day at the yacht club.  What would we do without it??!?

 

Fun filled day

Starting off the morning right with a workout on the deck with friends

Then a little help with some of the EBSF boats, to get them ready for launching

Then a sail on our friend Bob's boat, beautiful day!

Still time in the day to get a stationary bike ride done - just a couple hours

and then it was time for cocktails at the club

Bolts and Lucky enjoyed romping around the yacht club grounds

Nothing better than those days that you fill from start to bottom
 

Racing on a 12 meter classic!

Chris got the opportunity to race on Gleam, a 12 meter classic sailboat built in the 1930's!  Our neighbor is a co owner and asked Chris to help crew during the New York Yacht Club regatta in Narragansett Bay

It was 3 days of racing - and he loved every minute of it!  Well, except for the hours of waiting for the race to start on Saturday because there was no wind...

 These opportunities don't come too often, so glad he had the chance!
