BBWWT Day #20: Colorado to Kansas!

UP early, the rains had finally stopped.  We walked over to the Biker Bar for breakfast :)  We were the only ones not drinking beer, ha ha!
Food was yummy!  They even added some garnishments for a nice presentation- much nicer than a lot of other breakfast places
We took stroll around the grounds after we ate - it was a huge area, and pretty cool.  A good place to hang out during a Covid year, with all the outside seating

Then we were on the road!
Denver!  It was a gray and chilly day
East of Denver - flat flat flat

Kansas!
Hard to see, but there was a lot of old farm equipment, spaced along the grounds - almost like fencing. It was pretty cool to see
Our only stop of the day:  Buffalo Bill monument

The museum was closed (Monday), but we didn't mind, since we just had time to view the monument and read the board
Our stop was at a KOA in Wakenney KS.  Pretty quiet - too cold for most to be camping.
There did happen to be another Blue Verona though! It was 40 feet versus our 36.  The owner walked over and chatted with Chris for a bit.  I was cold and didn't want to do much - I could barely get the gumption to take Bolts for  walk :)   Missing those warm FL and sunny Moab days.
