Cars & Coffee Concours style!

Another cars & coffee event hosted by Audrain Museum (who organized & sponsored the whole Concours)  The big guns came out for this event - like the Stanley Steamer!
It was a sunny but Very chilly morning, so it was good that we got to see the Concours cars
Special parking for the Bugatti's.  These guys have all the luck!
A huge turnout for the event - so it was difficult to get good photos of the concours cars

And so many cars - it was kind of hard to tell what was a concours car or not!  The special parking obviously helped ;)

Bolts was able to attend this event, but i don't think he was too impressed.  Too many people!

NHRA drag racer Bob Tasca III attended the event too!

A sea of people!  And that is the Queen Mary 2 cruise ship hanging out in the background :)

A lot of very cool cars!

Jay Leno was on hand as well  -he was the Chairman of the Newport Concours.  (he was at the Gathering the day before too, but we missed seeing him because we were too busy looking at cars)

Bolts wasn't impressed - he just wanted to chew his ball.

And then, the concours cars were off!

We stayed for a little while longer - waited for the crowd to disperse.

 It took a while :)
Then we headed to Chateau Sur Mer mansion for a Porsche gathering.
I haven't seen this many Porsche's in one spot - ever!  Theses were just the regular gang
Then there was a special spot for those that were being judged in their own concours.

It took a while to walk this event - but at least we were out of the wind, so it was much warmer.  Sunny day helped warm us up too.
And next door - there was a McLaren gathering.  Not as many, but still more than I've seen in one spot before.

The concours cars were actually parked down the street - where we eventually made it!
What a morning!
Woodrow wasn't charging - so we had to push start it a couple times.  But we did make it home without too much fuss.
Our friends, Scott, Brett, Gloria, & Charlie (and their grandson) stopped by our house for a bit.  Cars & Coffee turned out to be a full day event!!
