4th of July fun

We are going to do the yacht club week long cruise this year, so we thought we should get our dingy ready and give it a test 'drive'

The motor is a lot hurting, so  we have a new one ordered (hope it arrives in time...), but we did get to where we wanted to go.  We headed across the Bristol harbor to have dinner

Then back to our boat to listen to the concert and watch the fireworks

 Another beautiful evening

A lot of boats sail into the harbor just to watch the fireworks - all the lights in this picture are from anchor lights
 The fireworks were very nice

Then the next day is the Bristol 4th of July parade.  Everyone comes out for this - it's the oldest one in the country!!

We stopped by some friends to watch part of the parade - they have the perfect shaded spot!  (and a beautiful home)

Then we headed to our usual spot, which isn't as shaded, but our friends make some wonderful mojitos, so after a couple of those, you don't care about the sun or shade :)

 People - everywhere!
Then to our friend's house for their annual bbq!  They rented this Monster water slide for the kiddos (and adults).  It was SO cool!
 Perfect day
