BVI Trip - Day 3

day 3 - up early and ready to move on!   Barbara and Chris Bj were early risers (5 am), the rest of us slept in until 6:30 - or first light.   Such a beautiful morning.  Love this water color!
on the way out of the harbor, we swung by Willy T's floating bar.  We didn't make it there -but maybe next time.  We've heard it's quite the party boat (it was closed in the morning)
we saw a lot of cruise ships in the area
it was still windy, but only in the 20's (it was like that all day and all night all week), so we put up the sails
peaceful cruise to our next destination - Cooper island.  There are so many islands in the BVI - you would have to spend a month to see them all (especially if you want to check out all the harbors on each island)

Bill & Barbara chilling
the view out the front window in the salon

My Chris would get on the mooring app each morning and reserved our spot each day.  He had to be quick - they would sell out fast!   Our mooring spot on Cooper Island

Bloody Mary morning

I had a cocktail chair
Relaxation at it's best
June busy in the kitchen ;)
It was windy - but calm enough to try the paddle boards that we reserved.  I have horrible balance - so I sat while Chris did all the work :)   Barbara's first time - and she was doing great!

Then it was time to snorkel
all our toys!
After snorkeling (I should have bought the case where I could take photos underwater).  I did buy a disposable camera - so I'll see how those photos turned out.  If and when I ever get the camera developed..      we went ashore to check our Cooper Island's resort

they had cocktail stands in the water
the rum bar was quaint but quiet

we took a short hike to the almost top of the mountain  A lot of the trails haven't been cleaned up since the hurricane, so we couldn't do as much hiking as we would have liked

back at the boat - time for a beer - thanks Bill!
Then a while later (we did another snorkeling trip in there), we had some dark & stormy's

Dinner on the boat (we decided to eat ashore every other night)    Good thing we planned on dinner on the boat, since the restaurant was fully booked.

We played some cards (mostly Chris & I watched) and called it an early night :)  Another beautiful fun day on the water!
