Dining at Meadowood in St. Helena, CA - not worth it

We had a private dining room at Meadowood.  Ridiculously expensive meal & I left hungry & didn't drink any alcohol.

 Fortunately, we had a lot of laughs.  Thank goodness - it was the only saving grace of the evening!  Poor Rob went through so many napkins b/c he was laughing so hard, he was crying!

 I didn't take too many pictures.  Presentation was nice, but the food was not good.  One serving was a small piece of a very undercooked bird.  (they have to leave it raw, otherwise it tastes like liver, the servers explained)  The men were lucky enough to still have the bird leg still attached to theirs!  Ha ha - another good round of laughs (they had to shut the door on us he he)  One of our friends had to leave the table, she was kind of sick from the looks of it.
Dessert was served on a grape vine.  Interesting - but the food kind of stuck to it.    Oh, they did take us to the kitchen afterwards - so if that interests you - go for it.    I wasn't impressed & neither were my friends.
