Mohosa race

Getting our sails ready for the next few sailboat races!

This spinnaker is huge!
But it fits in a sock, so more easily managed
 Our main head sail

This past Wed was the Mohosa (Mt Hope sailing assoc) race - so its not a part of the regular Wed night racing.  (the race continues on Sunday, as part of a 2 part race series)  It's fun to mix it up a little - some different boats from different yacht clubs joined in the fun, so the classes were big! - 14 & 15 boats in a class versus the normal 6-10.

Another beautiful night - lots of wind too!  This year, we haven't experienced the dying breeze that we normally get. It's been windy every Wed - all the way through to the end!

Heading in - this race started a little further out - close to the Mt Hope Bridge
Back in Bristol harbor!  Fun night!

And part 2 of the race series was on the following Sunday - where we raced from 11 am to 4 pm (2 races).  Sunday started off very cloudy and rainy.  So I didn't take many photos.

But the sun did come out, and we eventually dried off.

We ended up 2nd on Wed night and 2nd overall on Sunday!
