Our friends recently bought a new powerboat - a Mainship 30. It's a beauty and we got to go on a cruise with them
They keep their boat in Padanaram Harbor, so we drove over & met them. Then we motored over to Cuttyhunk harbor. It's only an hour in a motorboat, but it can take a few hours in a sailboat.

Our friend's have their own mooring on Cutty, since they go quite frequently. After we moored, Skippy (Chris' high school friend) had to show him the motor :)

We then took the dinghy for a cruise around the mooring field and then headed to the beach
We didn't go to the main beach - but just the beachy area along the harbor entrance. More interesting to watch all the boats come & go - and they are non stop

Soon it was time to head back to the boat and head home
The raw bar boat came by, but we had sandwiches
and dark & stormy's (only one each, we were driving)
and we were off - back to Padanaram
