Ohio bound - day #1

Off on another adventure - to Ohio for a triathlon, my last qualifier for Hawaii Ironman
We took Big Blue & Bolts and were on the open road westbound.  Bolts got comfortable pretty quickly
Always a lot to see along the roadway  - some wreck, looked like someone blew a tire
a cool tractor painted on the side of this red barn

We had a short drive on day 1, and stopped in the middle of New York.  We found a great Harvest Host:  Gasstrom Farm.  We were the only visitors for the evening, so it was nice and quiet.  We met the owner, learned the history (it used to be a brewery), and bought some yummy beef, honey, and jam!

They had some pretty cool tables made from an old tree
cute facility

nice sunny evening

They had a nice motorcross track that we walked for a little exercise.
We had some great views from the top of the hills

Honey (bee) hives

setting up water for the night - Bolts likes to chase the hose, especially if water is coming out :)
