We decided to head over to the other side of the island - to St Georges (we had been spending our time in Hamilton)
Another beautiful bus ride
We passed some huge tennis courts and cricket groundsThere are beautiful harbors around every turn
St Georges was a quaint little town
It also had some forts from the 1700's
Bermuda helped the American revolutionaries in their fight against the British in 1775. Pretty cool! They stole British gun powder and gave it to the Americans.
We took a path to Tobacco Bay
Beautiful!
The fish of Bermuda
Back to town
Most of the homes are on small lots, but every once in a while, you see a large complex like this one
Back on the bus to Hamilton - more amazing views
They had a regatta, part of The Onion Patch series (NYC regatta; N to B race; and this race), so we caught the end of it. Some of the Newport to Bermuda boats (if you could manage to get out of the marina) participated.
We caught up with the owner of Incognito, so we 'boat shopped' with them :) No, we aren't getting a different boat but it's fun to look
Then Chris helped do some things on Shearwater to get it ready for the cruise home
Party at the yacht club that night! We only stayed for a few hours
but had a Dark & Stormy with our 'Aggressive' crew
