I thought Chris would want to sleep all weekend after being on the water all week, but he was up and ready to go on Saturday morning! So we headed to Cars & Coffee in Newport - this weekend it was at the Elms Mansion
We met our friends there too - nice warm & sunny morning
There was a good turnout
Bolts joined us this time too
The mansion was beautiful
and the grounds were even more beautiful
The drive home was pretty nice too
Then we went sailing on our friend's new boat! I was surprised that Chris was ready to get back on a boat so quickly
Light winds, so a good day for testing the waters
Then we ended the day at a Bristol concert! Bristol has 14 days of concerts leading up to the 4th of July extravaganza
We met some friends from the yacht club, and shared yummy treats
The band Sixwire was amazing! Fun sing along music from the 70's and 80's
Some fireworks at the concert too! A great 1st day home for Chris!!
Up early on Sunday - and went for a little cruise in the red pick up. We stopped by our friend's shop to see what he was working on.
We ended this day at another concert - a Jimmy Buffett tribute band. The crowd was Huge! and the beach balls were flying everywhere!
Lovely weekend in Bristol - and we were glad to have Chris home :)
