Deuce Days - Day 5 McMinnville to Astoria

It was museum day!  Some of us went to a farming museum while others went to an air museum.  The farming museum had a working blacksmith shop
 and sawmill!
 Loads of antique pieces
and so many tractors and other farming equipment!
 Cool stuff
 Gianna loves tractors!

This covered wagon was especially neat to see
Some local 4th graders come to the museum and are in the process of building a log cabin
We also visited an old school house

It was pretty fun!  We've been to the air museum before, so it was good to visit something different

We did drive right by the air museum
 and through the woods
 by vineyards
and onto the World of Speed museum!

There was a huge kids room where we all ended up :)
And what would the day be without a car problem.  Fortunately just another window problem, but it still kept Mike from enjoying the museum
We then headed to an old church for lunch!  It's now a pub

Gianna loves ants and they can keep her occupied for quite a while
After lunch - on the road again!

 through towns
 and tunnels
 and bridges!
We made it back to the coast - and it brought our only rainy afternoon of the trip

 Astoria!
the side curtains we had made worked great!  They aren't perfect but did the job
We love the view from this hotel - but it was a little cloudy today...
We made it a pizza party night and took over the hotel lobby
Fortunately, it didn't rain all night, so we were able to enjoy the patio too.
Ahhh, life on the road!
