Milltown car show

Chris' brother & his friends met at our place early on Saturday.  We headed out around 7 am
1st stop - breakfast - then we were off to Sturbridge, MA. We drove through Providence
then took a lot of back roads.  New England has a lot of pretty cool ones!

We drove through a lot of towns
 and passed by some lakes

 Lots of churches
We made it to the show around 10 ish.  Dallas drove our 32 and we drove the red pickup.  We wanted a nice smooth ride after riding in the roadster for over 2000 miles
A good turnout for the show.  Last year it rained, so we didn't go
There is always a good row of vendors/ swappers
The event is held at a rod & gun club.  There's a nice pond on the property

and huge pavilion which has a bar; food vendor and room for a band
We ran into a lot of friends- it's always a good show for that!   I hadn't seen Michelle or Re yet this year so it was great to see them.  They live in CT.
T storms were in the area so we headed home a little earlier than usual
We stopped for gas and an early dinner
Then it was back on the road; passing by more of New England's charming history.  These old mill buildings are everywhere.  Some are still in use, but many have been torn down or converted to apartments or condo's.  It's sad to see some of them in such disarray.
