BBWWT Day #7 Waco to Amarillo

Leaving peaceful Waco, and having the drive through Dallas/Ft Worth (yuk).  But it could have been worse.  Soon we were on some back roads, seeing a lot of open sky and trains

plenty of old trucks out here - just waiting to be loved

Everyone seems to have a fancy gate for their farms too - (I seemed to miss photographing the really cool ones)

We started to get out of the plains, and into more southwestern landscape

Texas is big!  Long drive, but we made it to Big Texan RV.  Nice dog park for Bolts to chill in :)

We headed downtown to Route 66 - just a quick trip, since it was getting late

time for a mexican yummy meal though :)

Back to Big Blue for another relaxing evening!
